Meet your technical partner
Hey, I'm Kevin
I'm a dad of two boys, a software engineer with 20+ years under my belt, and the person who leads every Freebound project personally. I've built products for companies like EY, Yellow Pages Group, and RXL, and I've spent time deep in fintech, healthcare, and AI startups.
When you work with Freebound, you're working with me - from strategy and architecture to the code itself. I don't hand projects off. I don't disappear after kickoff. This is the way I think software should be built.

Meet Esther
I've always been drawn to building systems that bring clarity. Before Freebound, I spent years running an education business - designing curriculum, leading teams, managing marketing and operations, and building recurring revenue from the ground up. What I came to realise is that the deeper skill was taking expertise and turning it into something structured, usable, and clear.
I kept meeting founders, executives, and domain experts with thoughtful ideas rooted in real experience - but no clear path to turning those ideas into something tangible. They understood the problem. They just needed help making the solution clearer and more actionable.
At Freebound, I work in that space between insight and execution - helping shape ideas into a clearer product direction through strong questions, structured thinking, and a grounded approach.

Years Building Software
From startups to enterprise - I've shipped products across fintech, healthcare, AI, and more.
Code Ownership
Everything I build is yours. Code, designs, data - no lock-in, no strings.
Surprise Invoices
Every project gets a fixed price upfront. You know what you're paying before I write a line of code.
WHY Freebound EXISTS
The short version
We kept running into the same story from different angles. Kevin, from 20 years in engineering - as a tech lead at Yellow Pages, an Associate Director at EY, building AI workflows at Mantium, and running engineering as CTO at RXL Group. Esther, from years running an education business - designing curriculum, leading teams, and building revenue from the ground up. Different worlds, same pattern: smart people with real ideas, stuck because they couldn't find the right partner to make them real.
They'd burned through budgets on offshore teams that disappeared mid-project, or tried no-code tools that hit a wall the moment they needed something custom. The problem was never a lack of ideas - it was the gap between having the idea and having someone who could structure it, build it, and see it through.
So we built Freebound. Kevin leads the engineering - architecture, code, delivery. Esther shapes the strategy and client experience - asking the right questions, bringing structure to early-stage thinking, and making sure every project starts from a place of clarity. Together, we cover the full distance from rough idea to working product.
Every project gets fixed pricing so you know the cost before we start. Milestone payments so you never pay for work you haven't approved. And you own 100% of the code from day one. Not because those are good marketing bullets - because that's how we'd want to be treated if we were on the other side of the table.
HOW WE work
Three phases, zero surprises
Discovery & Scoping
I learn your business, map out what your users need, and put together a fixed-price proposal with a clear timeline. You'll know exactly what you're getting before any code is written.
A detailed plan, a fixed price, and zero ambiguity.
Design, Prototype & Build
I design, prototype, and build in milestones. You review working software at each checkpoint and only pay for what you've approved. No radio silence, no surprises.
Working software you can see, test, and give feedback on - every step of the way.
Launch & Support
I deploy your product, hand over everything - code, docs, data - and stay available for whatever comes next. You launch with confidence and a partner still in your corner.
A live product, full ownership, and ongoing support if you need it.
GOT AN idea?
If you've been sitting on a software idea and you're not sure where to start, I'm always happy to talk. No pitch, no pressure - just an honest conversation about what it would take to bring your idea to life.
